Top 30 Most Influential Global Gurus research project

Global Gurus is an independent research organization dedicated to ranking “Gurus” in different areas of expertise. We have conducted surveys of individuals which excluded political, military and business leaders and focused on those practitioners who develop and instill skills in others.The results were the “Gurus 30” award that is bestowed upon the Top 30 Most Influential Professionals in the World within their field of expertise.

The research come from on e-mails sent to 62,000 business people, consultants, academics and MBA’s around the world for nominations and a public opinion poll on the various guru websites like: www.leadershipgurus.net and www.communicationgurus.net.

This resulted in a shortlist 60 names. A Google search established ranking and assessment was based on a scale of 1(low) to 10(high) against Leadership Criteria gathered from international companies on the web. This criteria for judging focused: Originality of ideas, practicality of ideas, presentation style, international outlook, impact of ideas, quality of publications and writings, dispersion of publications and writings, public opinion, guru factor.
These gurus not only apply their own skills and principals to achieve superior results in their organizations, but develop and influence others to improve throughout the globe.
Only participants who receive more than 1000 votes each are contenders for the Gurus 30. Others that did not make this distinction, but still added substantial value to the development of leadership on a global level, are awarded the “Gurus Award of Excellence”
